ABOUT LORIEN'S CIRCLE
Lorien's Circle is a herd of horses and ponies in north west Sydney, NSW Australia.
The horses and ponies at Lorien's Circle come in various shapes, sizes and ages - but not many colours! Karri is their carer and trainer, and she encourages the horses to express their unique personalities, in an unrestrained way. Karri often trains at liberty (without any ropes or bridles), to develop trusting mutual relationships with horses, just like we all do with people.
The result of this are horses and ponies who are lively, inquisitive and fun to spend time with.

MEET THE HERD
Lorien
27 year old Miniature Horse gelding
A gentle sweetheart who loves attention, treats, and belly scratches. He's a sensible horse, who trains his human well.
Lunar
18 year old Sheltand Pony geldng
Lunar is very bonded to Lorien. He's a rescue pony who is very bright and loves learning new things.
Timmie
7 year old dwarf Miniature Horse gelding
Our most recent addition: Timmie is a friendly pint sized fluffball who is super smart and loves massages.
Tin Tin
26 year old Miniature Horse gelding
Tin Tin is Lorien's little brother. He loves attentoin and learning new skills.
Loki
10 year old Miniature Horse gelding
Loki's love of water as earned him the nickname of Swampmonster. He genuinely believes he is one of the big horses.
Dragon
13 year old Shire x Stock Horse gelding
Dragon is tall, dark and handsome. He is a happy fellow and everyone's best friend.
Butters
13 year old Shire x Quarter Horse Mare
A quiet, confident leader, Butters is the matriarch of the herd. She's thoughtful, kind and large.
Ms Horse
22 year old Stock horse x Appaloosa mare
Ms Horse is our speed demon. Age means nothing. She will stop for food and sleep. Briefly.
Karri
The human who thinks she's in charge
Karri is a clicker trainer, liberty trainer, carriage driver, rider and Horse Agility Accredited Trainer. She enjoys connecting with horses in an unrestrained way.
